Are you ready to glam up and hit the town, designer-style? Or maybe you're just looking for a little inspiration outside the pages of your favorite style magazine.
Either way, you're in luck. On Thursday, August 25th, The Village of Rochester Hills, along with StyleLine Magazine and Community Lifestyles are hosting what will now be the annual Fashion Stroll & Runway Show at Meadow Brook Hall.
It's the perfect setting to enjoy a pleasant Michigan summer evening. The night will kick off at 6 p.m. with a showing from your favorite--and locally accessible--merchants, including Banana Republic, Buckle, Eddie Bauer, Gap, Ann Taylor, Chico's, Coldwater Creek, Soma Intimates, The Children's Place, Parisian and Williams Sonoma. As you visit each of your favorite stores' booths, stroll about Meadow Brook Hall with champagne in hand, with pre-show hors d'oeuvres at the ready as you collect a Village goodie bag, get a mini-makeover from Chanel and rack up several store specials.
After your stroll, saunter on out to the Pegasus Garden for the runway show, with special guests Lynn McCabe from Parisian and Jennifer Whorf from Jones Group as the emcees for the event.
If you've still got it in you following the show, head back on over to the Village for 'Twilight Shopping' until 10 p.m. Participating merchants may have special offers and free gifts as you enter.
It's a night akin to a fashionista's dreams. And even better? Proceeds from the $40 tickets will benefit Meadow Brook Hall. 200 tickets have already been sold. Get yours soon! How often can you tell your husband that your shopping did some charitable good?
